We make our own color palette and we take our time to develop each garment to create fashion that can be inherited.
The Fiber and the Fabric:
We use fine merino wool produced locally. Most of the Merino wool produced in Uruguay is exported as a raw material all over the world, so we wanted to bring the value of this wonderful product back to where it is from! Also, since we have contact with the raw material from the beginning, we are able to creatively intervene very early in the textile process.
Then, we knit the wool and exposed the knitted panels to heat and movement (similar to boiled wool) creating a irregular soft felt-like fabric. Later we vat dye the panels and then we cut every single piece of the garment by hand, carefully selecting each part of the fabric to create unique and beautiful pieces.
Hope you enjoy our creation as we did creating it!
